US J-1 VISA Approved!!!

My trip to the US embassy this early morning at 8am was great! I got my J-1 VISA!! Finally! So many ppl have been asking me when am i flying, and i could only reply... 'Still pending US Visa comfirmation... Exact date of departure not confirmed..'. Not to mention how pai say it would be if i didn't get my J-1 VISA! haha.. Anyway, I woke up early morning at 5.45am.. Thanks to my dad la... He forced me up so early in the morning else i would surely be late.. Left home at 6.45am... Took bus 106 & the journey was an hour long! Luckily i got seat on the bus.. So no complains.. Managed to reach the US embassy at 7.55am!

Met up with some of my fellow frens who are heading to US Genentech with me.. Really nice people.. Glad to know them.. I guess the feeling i get after the US VISA is approved is very different. It's like reality come true now! I can really feel like i'm on my way to US for the 18mths program now.. Esp after meeting up with them & discussing about the trip & things to bring.. Before that, i wasn't really feeling any excitement.. Jus happy to go for this program which is a rare opportunity for me. Something that i can only do when i'm still young.. Still at my prime age..

Anyway.. Feeling tired after waking up at 5.45 am! Going to take a short nap soon though i'm still happily exploring my new bought item - MACBOOK! Damn shiok la... The interface is amazing... Gonna d/l some games to look at the pretty graphics soon.. :P Oops... Better slp soon before i got no energy to go out tonight.
